Prince William Sound has over 3000 miles of shoreline, made up of protected bays, passages and glacial fjords. Imagine paddling in crystal clear water by rugged mountains that seem to rise up right out of the ocean floor.
Humpback Whales, Dall Porpoises, Orcas, Sea Otters and Sea Lions are the marine mammals you are most likely to encounter. There are also a variety of sea birds and Bald Eagles that live throughout the Sound. Land mammals like the Black Bear, Black Tail Deer and Wolverine also live in this area. Kayaking is truly one of the more unique ways to enjoy the pristine beauty of what Western Prince William Sound has to offer. Wildlife Viewing

Hiring a charter boat to explore Western Prince William Sound will guarantee your viewing of a variety of different wildlife that inhabits this area. Humpback Whales, Dall Porpoises, Orcas, Sea Otters, Seals and Sea Lions are the most common marine mammals you will encounter. The variety of birds seen on a given day can range from the majestic Bald Eagle to the colorful Puffin. It is also common to see Black Bears along the beach feeding on Salmon from July to October.
